Illustrations of Scott Balmer. Using lovely vectors and gradients, I really love this particular piece because its repeative. It would work really well as a wallpaper!
The colours themselves are also interesting, usually having been discovered along the way by seeing what feels right, rather than making a rigid plan.
The City of Melbourne’s new identity is engaging, colourful and vibrant. The geometric, blocky nature also has helped me fall in love with it.
It’s dynamic and responsive branding at its best. If I could produce such a successful piece of branding in my career I will be incredibly happy.

It was a great experience and extremely beneficial. I advice all second years going next year to do it!
